^ Gateways
Probably many good starting points, but the following article at Semtech.com gives some good introductory terms and information:
Here a starting search for off-the-shelf LoRa gateways, with an eye toward low power and small form factor, integrate-able models:
A few more models to investigate:
- Dragino single channel
- IMST iC880A
- IoT LoRa Gateway HAT . . . manufactured by Pi Supply
This RPi based LoRa gateway appears to be out of stock and on back order, costs about $136 USD. Model "LoRa LoRaWAN Gateway -868MHz Kit with Raspberry Pi 3":
. . . Note this product comes with 865 MHz radio and antenna, commonly used in much of Europe. In North America we would need 915 MHz, and there is mention of an alternate URL in the above PDF for this other frequency.
