This local wiki article holds a few notes and details about NOR flash memory manufacturers, plus some specific parts in the memory size range of 8Mbit to 128Mbit.

A part alternate to the MX...8035, two parts by Microchip. On Microchip's site there is mention that the SST26 prefixed part is recommended over the SST25, but did not see mention of end-of-life or other obsolescence at their site. Following are 16Mbit (2 Mbyte) and an 8Mbit (1 Mbyte) NOR flash memory:
